an intercontinental gathering of tribes where they performed the Eagle Dance in front of the Sun Pyramid for the first time in 500 years. They brought the message that “Water is Life” and “our water should not be privatized” to the World Water Forum in Mexico City.
They exchanged the water they brought with other indigenous tribes and it was carried to Peru and Bolivia for the legendary Mayan staff return at Tiwanaku, with Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj (Wandering
Wolf), a thirteenth Generation Quiche Mayan High Priest. The water was returned to Mexico City where the Mexicas had a fire ceremony with a Mayan elder and prepared the four elements (water, fire, air and
earth) for a return trip to Hopi. The Mexicas ran 1,800 miles from Mexico to Hopi with the water, the feminine activating fire, air and earth. The Hopi met the Mexica runners at the US border and ran with them through other sacred lands, they not only brought the 4 elements but also brought the much need rain through Zuni, Navajo and Hopi lands.
For the first time, ever the Hopi allowed for an outside group to dance and conduct ceremony in their sacred second mesa courtyard and allowed it to be recorded. This was a gift. They also were gifted a visit to Prophecy Rock with Hopi elder Martin Gashweseoma where they exchanged similarities and spoke of “things to come”.
There is part of the ongoing fulfillment of the prophecy of the connection of both the North and South American Indian tribes. This prophecy explains that when the power of the Eagle of the North connects in balance with the spiritual Earth centered Condor of the South, our Earth will then come into balance. It is a process of
Coming Together, Coming Back To Center, Unity for All, One Heart. It is all directions returning to a peaceful, loving HEART CENTERED way of being.
These gatherings continue.
The “Return Of The Ancestors” gathering in Northern Arizona from April 18-28, 2009.
The intention is to unite and share the invited wisdom keeper’s visions and prophecized ceremonies for peace and harmony for Mother Earth and all humanity.

Help Share This Documentary
We are editing and have the first cut of the documentary finished. We have sent copies for review to some of the Hopi and videographers. Once we hear back from them we will proceed.
If you would like to help us in this and make a donation, you can by clicking here.
The donations will be used to finish editing the documentary and to create copies of the DVD so the Hopi can use it for fundraising and to spread their message.

–More about the Eagle and Condor Prophecy
“Through out our history in the story telling of our ancient people there is a line that is told from generation to generation without the tellings of old we could not survive as the indigenous people. There was a legend told, a story of the great bird, this today is known as the condor and the most powerful of the native peoples telling, the Eagle. It was said in time there will be a bringing forth to all that is of this creation, of world the Condor will come from the South the Eagle will come from the North and it is said of the two – when they are brought to actual pairing this is now the beginning of what is to be a time of peace.
So in this profound statement of seeing the Condor from the South and the Eagle feather from the North and being bringing forth in time of such an auspicious occasion, a gathering such as this. We know now that this was destiny, this was told in the ancestry and now we have got the ability and the blessing to see the fruition. it is now our responsibility, to know that with this we have responsibility to unfold it in the most appropriate way.”
“Our people have simply said let heart take lead with this the unfolding
shall come into beautiful manifestation.”

MAKE WATER A HUMAN RIGHT
—from Food and Water Watch
Current Legislation against the policy of the 5th World Water Forum.
Many countries around the world already support the human right to water, which builds a framework of international law that provides for accessible, clean, drinking water for all. But thanks to holdover staff from the Bush Administration, the United States has recently and appallingly removed language that references the human right to water from the ministerial declaration of the 5th World Water Forum underway in Istanbul, Turkey.
The World Water Forum ends on Sunday, March 22 — on World Water Day.
Our international activists are doing their best here in Turkey. We need every voice.
Even if you are reading this after March 22, 2009, please contact your Representatives anyway. This is on-going.
This is a step backward for all those who have worked to establish the legal precedent in international law to affirm the human right to water. It is time to declare water a human right and a public good.
Global water statistics are heartbreaking:
* 1.4 billion people live without clean drinking water.
* Two-fifths of the world’s population lacks access to proper sanitation.
* Every eight seconds a child dies from drinking dirty water.
* Half of the world’s hospital beds are occupied by people with an easily preventable waterborne disease.
* 80 percent of all sickness and disease worldwide is related to contaminated water, according to the World Health Organization.
* Dirty water kills more children than war, malaria, HIV/AIDS and traffic accidents combined.
Your voice is needed immediately.

Update: March 18, 2009
We are getting close to having the first edit done. We need to raise a bit of money to get some copies made for the Hopi to use to support themselves in doing the next run and also in traveling to perform the Eagle Dance. If you can make a contribution — you can do so by clicking the Chipin Box to the right on this page for H2ope Water Is Life. Thanks for helping to get the message about Water is Life out. It is very important for all of us.
