This Sacred Ceremony was at Santa Monica Pier honored the Oceti Sakowin 7th Generation Runners, at the Santa Monica Pier, November 21, 2016 with Chief Arvol Looking Horse, 19th Generation Keeper of the White Buffalo Calf Pipe, his Beloved Partner, Paula Horne, and their Beloved Daughter, Gracie. Chief Phil Lane Jr., Ihanktowan Dakota, and Chickasaw Nations, Mayan Elder and Spiritual Leader Tata Pedro, Bobbi Jean Three Legs, Hunkpapa, Wakpala, SD. Mitákuye Oyás’iŋ (All Are Related), “all my relatives,” “we are all related,” or “all my relations.” is a prayer of oneness and harmony with all forms of life: other people, animals, birds, insects, trees and plants, and even rocks, rivers, mountains and valleys… it is a phrase from the Lakota language and reflects the world view of interconnectedness held by the Lakota people of North America.
