Stand in Solidarity with the LARGEST climate demonstration in Washington D.C. yet!

On Sunday, February 17th at 1pm join Tar Sands Action Southern California, Sierra Club Beyond Coal Campaign, NRDC, Food & Water Watch, and Coalition Against Nukes among others as we march in downtown Los Angeles to deliver a message – “Solve the Climate Crisis! Take a Stand Mr. President!”

(See below those organizations & businesses who are standing in solidarity.)

Phil Lane~ WHY MARCH ~
Tell Barack Obama it’s time to lead in the fight against climate change, beginning with the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. It is time for a Renewable Energy Future – one that doesn’t include dirty and dangerous fuels like Coal, Fracking, Tar Sands and Nuclear.

~ WE STAND IN SOLIDARITY ~
This demonstration is in solidarity with the Washington D.C. march happening the same day organized by 350.org, Sierra Club and Hip Hop Caucus. Thousands of Americans will head to Washington, D.C. to make “Forward on Climate” the largest climate rally in history. We encourage everyone to attend the D.C. rally (http://act.350.org/signup/presidentsday), but for those unable to make the journey you can still stand in solidarity and make history right here in Los Angeles.
